Botox / Neuromodulators

Botulinum toxin type A is the most performed non-surgical aesthetic treatment in the world. It works by temporarily blocking the nerve signal that activates the muscles responsible for expression wrinkles - forehead, frown lines and crow's feet - achieving a more rested and rejuvenated face without altering mobility or natural expression.

What areas can be treated?

Classic indications include horizontal forehead lines, vertical frown lines and crow's feet that appear when smiling. In skilled hands, botulinum toxin is also used to smooth neck bands, correct drooping of the corners of the mouth, reduce bruxism and tooth grinding (toxin in the masseter muscle), and relieve axillary hyperhidrosis.

The treatment in detail

The session lasts approximately 20 minutes. The physician analyzes the patient's muscle dynamics in motion and at rest to determine the precise injection points. Ultra-fine needles are used, so there is minimal discomfort and no anesthesia is required. No recovery time is necessary: the patient can resume normal activities immediately.

The results appear progressively between 3 and 7 days after the session, reaching their maximum between 2 and 4 weeks. The average duration is between 4 and 6 months, although in patients who repeat the treatment regularly the effects can last up to 8 months.

Natural results: technique matters

The difference between a natural result and one that looks "frozen" lies in the dose, the technique and the physician's experience. Our approach is conservative: we prefer low doses that preserve expressiveness and mobility to high doses that immobilize the musculature.

Who can have this treatment?

It is suitable for men and women from 25-30 years of age with visible dynamic wrinkles. It is not recommended during pregnancy, lactation or in patients with neuromuscular diseases. A prior medical evaluation is essential.
