HIFU Facial / Body

HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is the most effective non-invasive technology for non-surgical facelifts. It works by generating heat in deep tissue layers - musculo-aponeurotic (SMAS) and deep dermis - at controlled temperatures that stimulate the production of new collagen and produce an immediate tissue contraction. The result is a progressive lifting effect that improves noticeably during the 3-6 months following treatment.

What areas does HIFU treat?

Facial HIFU is especially effective in the area of the facial oval, neck, décolleté, chin and eyebrows. The equipment used in our partner clinics (Ultraformer III, among others) allows us to select the depth of action with millimeter precision according to the area and the thickness of the tissue, adapting the treatment to the needs of each patient.

For the body, body HIFU acts on areas with localized fat and flaccidity: abdomen, thighs, arms and buttocks.

The HIFU session

The treatment is performed in a session of between 45 and 90 minutes depending on the areas treated. A conductive gel is applied to the skin and the transducer glides over the surface emitting the ultrasound pulses. The patient may feel a sensation of heat and slight tingling during the process, which subsides immediately. No anesthesia or recovery is necessary: normal activity can be resumed immediately.

Results and maintenance

The effect is partly immediate, but the optimal result is seen after 3-6 months, when collagen neogenesis has completed its cycle. The usual duration is 12-18 months. An annual maintenance session is recommended to preserve and prolong the lifting effect.

Who is it indicated for?

Ideal for people between 35 and 65 years of age with moderate flaccidity who do not want or are not candidates for surgery. It is also an excellent complement to surgical treatment to prolong the results.
