What does hyaluronic acid treat?

Hyaluronic acid fillers can correct a wide spectrum of aesthetic concerns: nasolabial folds, marionette lines, insufficient lip volume, loss of cheekbone projection, sunken dark circles and facial asymmetries. Each area requires a different product density and viscosity, so choosing the right filler is key to achieving natural results.

The treatment step by step

The session begins with a detailed facial evaluation in which the physician analyzes the patient's morphology, symmetry and goals. Topical anesthesia or local anesthetic block is applied to ensure maximum comfort. The infiltration is performed with needle or cannula - the latter significantly reduces the risk of bruising - and lasts between 20 and 40 minutes. Results are visible immediately and are optimized within 48-72 hours after the session.

Duration and maintenance

Durability varies according to the treated area and the patient's metabolism: between 9 and 18 months for lips, and up to 24 months for cheekbones. Maintenance sessions allow the effect to be prolonged with smaller amounts of product. As it is a reversible treatment - hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with hyaluronidase - it offers a safety and flexibility that other methods do not have.

Ideal candidates

It is suitable for people over the age of 25 who notice loss of facial volume, thin lips, marked furrows or are simply looking for a natural aesthetic improvement without undergoing surgery. Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation, or in case of active infection in the area.
