Exosomes
Exosomes are extracellular nanocellular vesicles of between 30 and 150 nanometers produced by stem cells that act as intercellular messengers. In aesthetic medicine, exosomes derived from stem cells (plant, placenta or adipose tissue) are used as state-of-the-art regenerative actives to improve skin quality, firmness and radiance.
Why are exosomes revolutionary?
Unlike conventional treatments that act from the outside, exosomes communicate directly with skin cells and "reprogram" their behavior: they stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis, accelerate cell regeneration, reduce inflammation and improve vascularization. The result is younger skin on a biological level, not only aesthetically.
Main indications
Exosomes are especially indicated for skin with accumulated sun damage (photoaging), loss of firmness and elasticity, thin and fragile skin, blemishes and irregular pigmentation, and as a post-peel or post-laser complement to accelerate recovery. They are also used in trichology (scalp) to stimulate hair growth and slow hair loss.
How is the treatment applied?
Exosomes can be administered in several ways: topically after dermapen or ablative laser (they take advantage of the microchannels to penetrate deeply), by mesotherapy (superficial microinjections) or by dermal biorevitalization. The session lasts between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the protocol.
Protocol and results
2-3 sessions 3-4 weeks apart are recommended for optimal results. Changes are progressive: increased hydration and radiance from the first session, improved firmness and texture from the second-third session. Results last 6-12 months with an annual maintenance session.
