Polynucleotides / PRN
Polynucleotides (PN), also known as PDRN (polydideoxyribonucleotides), are purified DNA fragments obtained mainly from trout or salmon sperm. They act as highly effective tissue regenerators: they stimulate A2A receptors in fibroblasts to activate cell proliferation, collagen synthesis and neovascularization, with an added potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect.
How do polynucleotides work?
Unlike other fillers or biostimulators that add volume or stimulate collagen from the outside, polynucleotides work at the cellular level: they "talk" directly to the skin cells to activate their own repair and regeneration mechanisms. The result is a real improvement in the biology of the tissue, not just its superficial appearance.
Main indications
Dark circles and periocular area: One of the most effective treatments for dark circles of vascular origin (purple-violet color) and dark circles with mild sagging. Improves circulation, firms the thin skin around the eyes and reduces the appearance of "chronic fatigue".
General facial rejuvenation: Indicated for photo-aged, dehydrated, dull or lack of firmness skin. They are an excellent base for other treatments.
Scars and post-acne skin: The regenerating action accelerates the repair of atrophic scars and improves irregular texture.
Scalp: In trichology, polynucleotides slow hair loss and stimulate the hair follicle. They can be combined with hair mesotherapy or PRP.
The treatment
The injections are intradermal or subdermal, with very fine needles or microcannulas. We recommend 3-4 sessions spaced 2-3 weeks apart, with a semi-annual maintenance session. Results are visible from the second session onwards: brighter, hydrated and firmer skin.
