Dark circles and thin under eye skin
Dark circles can come from pigmentation, from vessels showing through or from a slight hollow, and the skin around the eyes is the thinnest on the face. Telling the origin apart is what allows the treatment to be chosen, and we do it in the medical assessment.

Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides (PN), also called PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotides), are purified DNA fragments obtained mainly from trout or salmon. They are used as an injectable treatment with a regenerative aim, for skin hydration, elasticity and quality.
How they work
They are intended to stimulate the tissue's repair mechanisms: fibroblast proliferation, collagen synthesis and the formation of new vessels, with an anti-inflammatory effect.
Main indications
Dark circles and eye area: vascular dark circles and mild hollowing, and thin skin around the eyes.
Facial skin quality: photo-aged, dehydrated, dull skin or skin lacking firmness.
Scars: atrophic acne scars and uneven texture.
Scalp: hair loss, sometimes combined with hair mesotherapy.
The treatment
The injections are intradermal or subdermal, with very fine needles or micro-cannulas. Usually 3 to 4 sessions are advised, 2 to 3 weeks apart, with maintenance every six months. Changes are progressive and are assessed from the second session. Small bumps or bruises may appear at the injection points. Like any medical procedure, it can carry risks and side effects, which the doctor explains before the informed consent is signed.
